I am greatly appreciative of this first effort in the country... much mor ebecause this is not a planned effort of creating this blog and this will also ensure visibility to the project. I hope our other states will now follow up on this and ensure that they also create such blogs or the ND couldalso propose a common blog where we could post all our materials for outside visibility. Uttaman of Vamanapuram River : THE BOATMAN'S STORY
For 30 years, Uttaman has been ferrying residents of four villages in Nedumangad district, Kerala, across the Vamanapuram river — not for money, or fame, but simply because he knows there's no other way.
